For the past 12 years, Carl Selavka has served Atlantic Diagnostic Labo-ratories as Forensic Director of the Headquarters Lab – and Director of the ADL-Milford Satellite Lab – providing oversight on analytical and interpre-tive toxicology operations and results. Casework involves Behavioral Health, MATP, DUIA & DUID, Postmortem, Pain Management and Clinical Toxicology. He also currently serves as a Drug Testing and Toxicology SME Contractor for the USDOJ (DEA). Prior professional services included operations over-sight for US Army and Air Force Drug Testing labs, Director duties at National Medical Services, New York State public forensic science labs, the Massachusetts State Police Crime Lab System, international lab reporting duties for Hair Drug and Alcohol test results in the UK Family Court system, plus consulting scientist duties in criminal cases involving explosives and criminal & civil drug, toxicology and drug testing matters.

Kelley O’Donnell, MD, PhD, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the NYU School of Medicine, where she is the Director of Clinical Training at the NYU Langone Center for Psychedelic Medicine. To date, she has been a lead therapist, co-investigator, and/or clinical supervisor on 10 research trials of psychedelic treatments for various clinical indications, and has pub-lished many articles related to psychedelic-assisted therapy. She has taught in Continuing Medical Education courses on psychedelics at multiple univer-sities, and she is on the steering committee of a tri-institutional consortium to develop psychedelic medicine-related training materials for psychiatrists and medical students. Out-side NYU, she has been a Lead Educator and Clinical Consultant in the Lykos Therapeutics (formerly MAPS-PBC) MDMA Therapist Education Program, the Polaris Insight Center, and the Integrative Psychia-try Institute Psychedelic Therapist Training Program. She is also on the faculty of psychedelic therapist training programs at the MIND Foundation in Europe, and Monash University in Australia.

Dr. Kyle Kampman graduated from Northwestern University in 1981 and Tu-lane University School of Medicine in 1985. He interned at the National Naval Medical Center at Bethesda Maryland and served as a medical officer in the United States Navy from 1985 until 1990. He came to the University of Pennsylvania and served as a resident in Psychiatry from 1990 until 1993. He then completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry. In 1994 he joined the faculty in the Department of Psychiatry as an assistant professor. He was promoted to associate professor in 2003 and to professor in 2012.

Dr. Kampman has had extensive experience in the treatment of alcohol cocaine and opiate depend-ence. He has conducted a number of trials testing medications for the treatment of cocaine alcohol and opiate dependence and is a recognized authority on the cocaine withdrawal syndrome. Dr. Kamp-man chaired the committee responsible for the development of the ASAM National Practice Guideline for the Use of Medications in the Treatment of Addiction Involving Opioid Use. In addition to research, he works at the Addiction Recovery Unit of the Philadelphia VA Medical Center where he continues to treat cocaine, alcohol and opiate dependent patients with both medications and psychotherapy.

Dr. Marina Goldman is Clinical Assistant Professor and Faculty in the Add-iction Psychiatry Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She is also the Past President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania Psy-chiatric Society. She has been in clinical practice in Psychiatry and Add-iction Psychiatry since 2007. Her previous research work at the University of Pennsylvania focused on neuroimaging work examining risk factors of add-iction and brain signature for cannabis addiction.

Dr. Dimitri Markov is an attending physician in the Thomas Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center. He is board certified in sleep medicine and general adult psychiatry. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Markov received his undergraduate degree in pharmacy from Temple University School of Pharmacy and his medical degree from the MCP-Hahnemann University School of Medicine. He completed the Adult Psychiatry Residency Program at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2003, where he served as Chief Resident.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Markov enjoys teaching. He teaches core curriculum courses to medical students, psychiatry residents and sleep fellows at the Thomas Jef-ferson Sleep Disorders Center. Dr. Markov has published articles and presented regionally and na-tionally on the topics of sleep and psychiatric disorders.

Dr. Markov is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Blazes is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at OHSU. He is triple board-certified in psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and emergency medicine and is the director of the OHSU addiction psychiatry Fellowship. Dr Blazes is a cli-nician educator whose practice is based out of the Portland VA Medical Center. He lectures widely and publishes on such topics as benzodiazepines, buprenorphine, and the neurobiology of addiction and recovery. Recent publications include an article in JAMA Psychiatry describing a new clinical entity, Complex Persistent Benzodiazepine Dependence as well as “Reconsidering the usefulness of adding naloxone to buprenorphine”.

Daniel Teixeira da Silva, MD, MSHP, (He/Him) is Director of the Division of Substance Use Prevention and Harm Reduction at the Philadelphia Depart-ment of Public Health. He leads public health efforts to reduce overdose in Philadelphia and serves as the Principal Investigator on Philadelphia’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Overdose Data to Action grant. His work includes monitoring the drug supply and disseminating clinical and public health guidance related to the changing drug supply.
